FORMER RESIDENT OF CITY IS DEAD

        Mrs. Eliza SANDEFUR, age 68, formerly of this city, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Garvey WILSON, 601 Jackson Avenue, Evansville, IN, yesterday morning at 5 o'clock.

        Mrs. SANDEFUR was a well known woman of the city and county.  She lived the greatest portion of her life in this community and went to live with her daughter only a short time ago.

        She is survived by six children:  Elbridge SANDEFUR of Webster County; Mrs. Monroe WILSON of Henderson; Sterlin SANDEFUR of Evansville; Mrs. Irvin BUSBY of the county; Mrs. Garvey WILSON and Mrs. Baker ROBARDS of Evansville.  There are three sisters and five brothers surviving.  Among the brothers are Jack, Russell and Elliott KNIGHT of Henderson.

        The funeral cortege will leave Evansville at 10 o'clock, arriving in Henderson at 11:15, and will then go at once to Pleasant Valley, where the funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock.  Interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
